We will be holding our next adoption day on Saturday April 13th, 2013 at Pet Valu in Kennett Square ~ located on Rt 1 next to the Sears Hardware store from 12:00 to 4:00. Lots of adorable cats and kittens will be available for adoption! Please take a moment to fill out our adoption application beforehand. We are sorry but there will be no on-site adoptions that day without pre-approval. Thank you for understanding and we are looking forward to meeting you!

Our annual spring yard sale will be Saturday April 20th at Pet Valu in Kennett Square from 10:00 to 5:00. Lots of wonderful treasures for sale and 100% of all proceeds go directly to caring for our cats!

We are now offering for sale our beautiful 2013 calendar and each month features one of our own Castaway Cats! Each calender is $15.00 and 100% of the proceeds go directly to supporting our cats! There is nothing better on a chilly morning than a warm and cozy cat on your lap! We have lots of talented lap-warmers looking for work! Please check out their resumes on our "Available Cats" page. Don't delay ~ winter will be here before you know it! :)
Our next adoption day will be Saturday, November 17th at Concord Pets at 1450 Kirkwood Highway in The Shoppes of Red Mill, Newark, Delaware from 12:00 to 4:00. There should be lots of adorable kittens in attendance hoping to find their forever homes. If you are thinking of adding a little furball to your family, please send in an adoption application located on our "AVAILABLE CATS" page today! That way you can be pre-approved and will be able to take your kitten home that day. There will be no on-site adoptions without pre-approval! Thank you for understanding.
Some sad statistics to share from 2010.
The top four largest shelters in Delaware took in around 9,000 cats. Of those 9,000, about 2,100 were reunited with their owners. Around 2,900 were adopted (yay!!) and around 4,000 were euthanized. :( This is why it's so important to spay or neuter your cat! Please contact us if you need help ~ we can get you low-cost for your cat or kitten!
