We wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to Dio Riga, an awesome young man who goes to Dickinson High School.

Dio sold 30 spider plants during his lunch break raising $80 for Castaway Cats!

We are honored and thrilled that he has done this for us and our cats. We cannot thank you enough Dio and your family for raising such a wonderful guy! I'm sure they are so very proud of you! We wish you all the very best!!

I just wanted to thank a very special family who donated over $100 worth of food and toys to us as their Christmas donation!

Their grandfather told his grandsons Nicholas and Oscar Jarlwala to pick a charity to donate to as his Christmas present to them and we were lucky enough to be the ones they chose!

We feel very special they picked us!!

Thanks so much!!! It was such a pleasure to meet you all!

HUGE SHOUTOUT to Braden Nieman, a awesome 12 year old, who once again requested in lieu of birthday gifts that donations be made to Castaway Cats!

He did this last year too and raised $305 plus a whole lot of cat supplies and this year he raised over $400 in checks/cash and gift cards PLUS a whole lot of cat supplies!!! What a WONDERFUL young man he is and we can not thank him enough for thinking of us and our Castaway Cats! We are so honored!

Big hugs to 13 year old Jake! Jake choose to support Castaway Cats for his Bar Mitzvah project and collected all these wonderful donations for our cats!  Thank you so much for thinking of us Jake!  Great job!!

We were honored to be awarded 3 pallets of 9-Lives dry food from 9-Lives and the ASPCA!! As a small non-profit, we applied for the food grant but never thought we would be awarded anything and were THRILLED when we were chosen!

We ourselves feed about 200 cats in our fosters and feral cat colonies. We also passed along some of the food to a few other groups who also help low-income people who feed and maintain feral cat colonies, so we are ALL thrilled with this WONDERFUL GIFT!

Below are a few pictures of the day we picked up the food at the Big Heart Pet Distribution Center in Bloomsburg, PA. They were extremely helpful, especially Shelly Rainer, who arranged everything for us.  The day was a wonderful experience thanks to you all and we can not thank you enough for your generosity and kindness for choosing us as one of the grant recipients!

SPECIAL THANKS!

I just wanted to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to the many wonderful people/companies that helped out with our 2017 Dinner & Dance fundraiser, either through services or donations.  I can not thank you enough and thanks to all of you the event was a huge success.

A great big THANK YOU to all the people who helped make our first annual yard sale a HUGE success!  We made a lot  of money to help the cats, met lots of new friends and even found a new home for one beautiful little kitten! We couldn't have asked for a better day.  Thank you! Thank you!  Be sure to look for our next sale in the spring!

Just wanted to thank the girl scouts -Troop 4722- for collecting and continuing to collect, till the end of May, all the food, toys, beds, litter, etc.... They had a fundraiser at Pet Valu in Kennett Square on Sunday 5/19 and filled up 2 boxes full of donations and also put up a box at their School (Pocopson) to receive donations until the end of the month! WOW!!I was very touched when I saw all the wonderful items that they collected and can not thank them enough for doing this for us!!

I want to thank Shirley, Sue, and Amber from Pet Valu in Kennett Square, PA for all the tireless efforts they put into fundraising for the Castaway Cats cat rescue. They have done a phenomenal job collecting litter, dry and canned cat food and beds to benefit Castaway Cats. Thank you so much ladies!

Castaway Cats is very lucky to have the support of two local girl scout troops! Junior Girl Scout Troop # 41184 made us some wonderful cat care packages using Fluffy's Blankets as part of their Bronze Award. And the girls in Troop #4750 made us cat toys and bracelets to sell as a fundraiser. Thank you girls!

We want to give a shout-out to a very special girl ~ Anna Ehlers. For her birthday, Anna asked for donations to Castaway Cats instead of gifts for herself! As a result, she donated many wonderful items to us! Thank you Anna for your generosity and thoughtfulness! You helped us help the cats!*HUGS*

A great big THANK YOU to the Kennett Square and Parksberg Pet Valu stores for their recent generous donations from their "April Paw Days" fundraisers! The next time you visit these stores please tell them how much their support is appreciated by Castaway Cats. Thank you!

We at Castaway Cats want to thank a very SPECIAL girl named Victoria Grillo. When asked what she wanted for Christmas, she replied "I want to help the animals!"  She does this every year and this year we were the lucky recipients! She collected not only monetary donations totaling $130 but also a lot of various cat food, litter and toys! We can not thank her enough for putting our "Castaway Cats" on her holiday list ~ what a wonderful thing to do and for this we are so grateful!

We would like to thank the following Unionville High School students ~Alexandra DiFelice, Ben McWilliams, Marilyn MacNguyen and Mallory Joseph ~ for taking the time to interview us and put our organization in their volunteer opportunities book at school. Thank you for your interest in our rescue!

Castaway Cats is a proud recipient of funding from Maddie's Fund®, helping to achieve a no-kill nation #ThanksToMaddie."

Castaway Cats is once again honored and humbled by the generosity of Pet Valu and it's community members. They raised over $2000 for Yvette last April. This will certainly help with all the kittens we will be neutering soon! Thank you!!
